Monday, February 15 marked a significant milestone at St Edward's landmark development Hartland Village on Ively Road in Fleet; the topping out of Hartland Manor. The occasion was marked and celebrated by Alan Hopley, the development's Senior Project Manager, undertaking the traditional act of tying a yew branch to the roof of the striking Georgian-inspired building which forms the centrepiece of Lakeside, the scheme's first phase of homes.
Commenting Alan said: "We're really proud to be reaching such a pinnacle construction milestone at Hartland Village - it's hugely rewarding to see it all taking shape. Hartland Manor is at the heart of our first phase of homes; it is the focal point for residents and visitors as they drive, cycle or walk over the picturesque hump-backed bridge and lake. It sets the tone for the rest of the development with its elegant and traditional architecture."
Danny Rowland, Sales Director at St Edward commented: "This milestone is significant for not only the St Edward team and Hartland Village's residents, but the wider community. There have been so many uncertainties for everyone this year so we're really pleased to have reached thus milestone; it's a delight to see the scheme progressing and transforming into a place and destination for everyone. The one and two-bedroom apartments at Hartland Manor present a really exciting opportunity for more people to call Hartland Village home; not only have we topped out, but we've also launched the new Help to Buy scheme which is now exclusively available to first-time buyers."
Hartland Village offers a choice of one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom houses. It is fast becoming a new destination in its own right; when complete this new neighbourhood will comprise a choice of family homes and apartments, a village centre, an abundance of green open space - including a 70-acre country park - and a two-form primary school. Over time, Hartland Village will include the provision of social spaces and facilities that will foster a great community spirit and encourage friendships to build among residents, promoting active lifestyles and mental wellbeing.
