February saw the launch of our beautiful 3 bedroom showhome, The Willow, at Hartland Village.
With stunning, bespoke, interiors designed by ArtSpace, this showhome provides the perfect place to envision your future home at Hartland Village.
Here’s what influenced ArtSpace on their countryside inspired interiors:
“Hartland Village brings St Edward’s undisputed quality into their creation of thoughtfully designed houses surrounded by rich natural woodland, we carefully embroidered these aspects into our interior design of The Willow.
Throughout this home, we embraced a colour palette of mixed sage greens, warm terracotta and a range of soft neutrals to create an uplifting yet opulent atmosphere.
On the ground floor we created a zone for a family to spend time together whilst cooking, eating and watching TV. Here, we also created a bespoke painting which embraces the tranquility of the Hampshire countryside.
Within the first floor living room is a bespoke media unit which has been purposefully designed to emphasise the space by being able to see through to the soothing green of the wall behind. Future buyers will be able to picture themselves cosy in the ‘cuddle chair’ looking out of the adjacent double doors onto the well-established trees and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
The earthy palette continues to flow through to the principle bedroom. We created a backlit headboard which elegantly stretches across the width of the room and gives a warm soft lit glow. We also chose a curtain and voile effect for the window dressing to show that privacy and light can work together harmoniously on a new build development.
We are seeing a celebration of nature and wellness in the interior design forecast and one of the first aspects of this new home we decided to embrace was the beautiful, leafy tree lined view sitting quietly opposite.
In the cloakroom is a “Misty Forest” wall mural, a reflection of the calming and restorative woodland feel from this development. Additionally, we blended the woodland theme into the second floor children’s bedroom using light, natural, pastel shades and a whimsical forest wallpaper. Providing the perfect place to snuggle in for bedtime stories.
Working beautifully alongside this warm and earthy colour palette we used lots of natural materials and warm woods, you will notice wooden slat paneling in bedroom three which rests against a wall painted in “muted spice” a warm neutral tone sitting perfectly against accents of black and boucle textures in the room. Here, we also incorporated a stylish desk into the room to show the great level of space and flexible living opportunities brought by investing in a townhouse.”
