St Joseph has been named Urban and City Living Developer of the Year at the Midlands Residential Property Awards.
The win recognises St Joseph's exemplary approach to placemaking at its first site in Birmingham. Snow Hill Wharf will provide 406 much-needed new homes for the city and restore a forgotten stretch of the canalside.
The judges said: "The company's Snow Hill Wharf development has taken city living in the region to the next level and is a symbol of the wider regeneration of Birmingham's historic Gun Quarter."
Snow Hill Wharf is one of the first major developments to get underway in the Gun Quarter and the team has worked closely with immediate neighbours, the wider community and Birmingham City Council to ensure that the new development meets the needs of local people; throughout construction and beyond.
Ashley Kensington, Managing Director of St Joseph, said: "Placemaking is at the heart of what we do at St Joseph, so to win Urban and City Living Developer of the Year at the 2019 Midlands Residential Property Awards is something the team is incredibly proud of.
"Berkeley Group is still at the start of its journey here in the Midlands, with much more to come. We are excited to play our part in the changing landscape of Birmingham and the wider region - working with local stakeholders to raise the bar for residential development, while creating lasting communities.
"Congratulations to everyone at St Joseph for their role in winning this award."
