Lyam Gunmer was named best in London for the high-rise builder category in October and has now scooped the award on a national level. The accolade was the culmination of months of judging and visits and is the highest awarded by the NHBC.
The annual Pride in the Job competition involves an independent site management assessment across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health & safety.
Steve Wood, CEO at NHBC said: “Congratulations to all the 2024 Pride in the Job Award Supreme winners and runners-up. They are an inspiration and should be very proud of the quality of new homes they are producing.
“While house building is a team effort, we believe the greatest influence on the quality of a finished home is the calibre of the project manager and the way they inspire their team. Winning site managers demonstrate dedication, passion and leadership to ensure new homes are delivered to exacting construction quality standards.”
Lyam Gunner, Deputy Project Manager at White City Living said: "It’s an incredible feeling to be recognised, along with the site team, as the best in the country. This recognition highlights the true passion, commitment, and dedication we all share in achieving the highest standards here at White City. Excellence through detail truly drives these results! "
