We are delighted to congratulate Alison Dowsett, Managing Director of Policy and Planning at Berkeley Group on being awarded the Golden Brick at the Residential Development Agents Society (RDAS) Awards Ceremony last week!
Alison has received this sector-wide accolade in recognition of her hugely valuable and varied contributions to the development sector over a long and highly productive career. This includes her innovative work across land acquisition, public-private partnership, planning, placemaking and unlocking the potential of brownfield land.
The honour also reflects Alison’s commitment to being an ambassador for the development industry, both in her Berkeley Group role and through her work as a mentor and advocate. Alison has invested a significant amount of time in supporting the next generation of built environment talent and boosting equity and diversity within the sector.
Alison is an inspiration, having consistently delivered at the highest level. Alison has spent over 20 years at Berkeley Group, holding a range of senior leadership posts, including Managing Director of St William where she played a key role in establishing a joint venture with National Grid to transform disused gasworks sites into thousands of good green private and affordable homes.
