Planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of Eastbury House, 30 Albert Embankment, SE1, overlooking the River Thames and directly opposite Tate Britain.The scheme, designed by world renowned architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, comprises of 34 private apartments and 14 affordable shared ownership apartments in a 28 storey building. The development will also include office floor space, a ground floor café, public piazza and basement car parking.
Construction is planned to start in summer 2013.
