Beaufort Park's fourth Concert in the Park proved a resounding success, attracting over 600 residents and visitors from across the local community on Saturday 14 July. The free community event took place in the parkland at Beaufort Park providing a perfect setting to enjoy live performances from the local Hendon Music Centre, Los Charley's Orchestra and the highly acclaimed Nina Ferro.
The Worshipful Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet,
Councillor Brian Schama, commented; "It was delightful to see so many residents and members of the local community, enjoying the Concert in the Park at Beaufort Park, whilst raising funds for Barnet Carers & Barnet Hospital."
The Concert opened with The Hendon Music Centre, with familiar music performed by wind, brass and percussion instruments, followed by the Latin sound of the modern Jazz band Los Charly's Orchestra, which created a great family friendly atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Nina Ferro who delivered a unique take on well-known songs for all ages, which brought visitors to their feet.

Guests were able to relax whilst enjoying a range of tasty barbeque along with summer drinks served by local bar and restaurant, The Dovecote. The event was held in aid of the Mayor of Barnet charity appeal 2012-2013 and raised over £450 for local charities, Barnet Carers & Barnet Hospital.
