The inaugural Beaufort Park Concert in the Park proved a resounding success, attracting residents and visitors from the local community and across the borough.
Held on Saturday 20th June, the free event in the new parkland at Beaufort Park proved the perfect setting to enjoy live performances from the Hendon Music Centre, Jo Harrop and The Milestones.
The Hendon Music centre opened the event with a fantastic performance from their Senior Concert Band, followed by music from Jo Harrop, a captivating young jazz singer. The highlight of the afternoon event was a performance by one of London's best funk and soul bands, The Milestones, which brought everyone in the park to their feet.
Ross Faragher, Managing Director of St George Central London commented: "St George is thrilled to have successfully hosted the Beaufort Park Concert in the Park. We were extremely pleased to see so many of our residents and others from the wider community enjoying a range of incredibly talented musicians in a stunning surrounding for free."
Guests were able to relax and enjoy a range of summer drinks at the bar in the park, provided by the highly acclaimed Young's bar and restaurant, The Beaufort. In addition, the children enjoyed having their faces painted and joining in a range of craft activities, provided by Bright Horizons, the on site childcare and education centre.
