St George has hosted its annual Christmas Carol Service at the Church of Christ the Saviour in Ealing, in partnership with Christ the Saviour Church of England Primary School.
Held on 2nd December, the festive winter celebration was attended by the Mayor Councillor Harbhajan Kaur Dheer who also switched on the Christmas lights at Dickens Yard ahead of an evening of carols at the Church of Christ the Saviour.
The annual festive event, free to the public, brings together the local community in the beautiful setting of Christ the Saviour Church, offering children, parents, teachers and local people the chance to come together to enjoy traditional carols and mince pies.
The fun and festive family occasion played host to Father Christmas, with the local children able to meet him and share their Christmas wish lists at the post-service reception. Visitors were also invited to indulge in culinary Christmas treats, with mince pies and mulled wine on offer.
Ian Dobie, Managing Director of St George West London said:
"We look forward to this annual event each year as a way of giving back to the community over the festive season and were delighted by the strong turnout this year. We would like to thank the Church of Christ the Saviour for hosting such an enjoyable evening of traditional carols."
