The Berkeley Group is co-sponsoring the 2015 Tower Hamlets Fireworks Night display, which is returning to Victoria Park after five years. The free fireworks night will take place on Saturday 7 November 2015, with gates opening at 5.30pm and the display starting at 7.00pm.
Craig Carson, Managing Director of St George City, a member of the Berkeley Group said:
"We are pleased to be supporting the London Borough of Tower Hamlets fireworks in Victoria Park, a free and fun night for all the family. On Saturday night the sky will be lit up with stunning pyrotechnics to a musical soundtrack. It's fantastic that the fireworks are returning to the borough's largest and oldest public park and it will no doubt be a very special evening."
St George is developing London Dock in Wapping, Tower Hamlets: a mixed use development of 1,800 homes, 486 of which will be affordable; 210,000 sq ft of commercial space; six acres of public open space and land for a new secondary school for 1,200 pupils.
One of London's most highly-anticipated new developments, London Dock is located in close proximity to well-known landmarks Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and St Katharine Docks. St George has successfully launched the Clipper Wharf and Admiral and Alexander Wharf phases earlier this year and construction is now well underway, with the first residents expected to move into their homes in 2016.
