St George, London's leading residential developer, is hosting the third annual Jobs and Careers Fair at Imperial Wharf on Thursday 28th January 2010, to highlight the range of employment and training opportunities available throughout Hammersmith and Fulham.
In partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, the Jobs and Careers Fair is a free event which will run from 4pm - 7pm, it provides an opportunity for local people to find out more about the variety of job prospects and training opportunities in the Borough. The event will be officially opened by Greg Hands, MP for Hammersmith and Fulham.

Stephen Greenhalgh, Leader of the Council, said: "This jobs fair is an excellent way for job seekers to meet prospective employers, find out about the latest vacancies locally and talk to the experts about the help and support that is available. Initiatives such as this are vital as we strive to create 'your borough of opportunity' in the middle of a recession."
Visitors to the Jobs and Careers Fair 2010, will be able to meet a range of organisations offering employment opportunities and job seeker advice. There will be plenty of information available through a variety of agencies including Westfield's Work Zone, where visitors will be able to obtain careers advice, gain support and assistance, access pre-employment training geared towards securing employment in the borough, visit a CV Clinic, organise work placements, debts support and provide childcare support for those wishing to return to employment.
