Last week residents at Broadacres, in Southwater, enjoyed watching The Greatest Showman at their very own open air cinema organised by Berkeley. The event was attended by new and existing residents of all ages within the Broadacres community, and was a great way to meet new neighbours or catch-up with old friends. Located in the community courtyard, at the heart of the Broadacres development, the residents made use of the green open space, bringing their picnic blankets and camping chairs to cosy up for an evening of entertainment. Guests enjoyed locally sourced ice cream served on an old school ice cream bike with a choice of four flavours, as well as popcorn and a variety of drinks.
The outdoor cinema was hosted on one of the many green community spaces located on the Broadacres development. These public spaces are invaluable to the community and are used frequently by residents as a spot for picnicking, playing, exercising, socialising and even parties.
