Dickens Yard, by St George in the heart of Ealing, will be hosting 'We Love Cheese' on Sunday 8 October 2017 as part of Ealing Artisan in partnership with Eat Me Drink Me.
As seen in Time Out, 'We Love Cheese' is an exciting, free, cheese festival taking place 11am - 4pm with food stalls, talks by producers and importers as well as live music, kids' area and cheese pairings from local wine and beer specialists.
There will be a selection of melted, hard and soft cheeses on offer, accompanied by artisan bread, crackers and local chutneys for locals and cheese enthusiasts to sample and enjoy.
Honest Burgers, due to open in Ealing this autumn, will be working with a local cheesemonger to conjure up a We Love Cheese-burger special for the event while street food stalwarts like Grill My Cheese will be on hand to serve up more cheesy dishes.
The festival will also feature its annual Cheese Cup, for experts from around the world to enter their best cheese for judging. Guests can buy a ticket to take part in the voting for the Cheese Cup, priced at £7 in advance or £9 on the day http://www.welovecheesefest.co.uk/. Tickets include a complimentary drink, a Cheese Cup tasting card and tasters of all the cheese entered into the competition.
Ealing Artisan forms part of the transformation by St George of Ealing Broadway and curation of Dickens Yard as one of the finest new destinations in West London. The new market follows recent news that St George has secured an array of lifestyle and food brands to open at Dickens Yard such as Balans Soho Society, Tri Yoga, Tonkotsu and Skinny Kitchen, with Tri Yoga due to open this year and the other units set to open in 2018.
