Award winning mixed-use developer St George is to host its annual Jobs and Careers Fair at Imperial Wharf, on the 29th January 2009, to highlight the range of employment opportunities available throughout the development and in the neighbouring area.
In partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, the Jobs and Careers Fair is to be officially opened by Greg Hands, MP for Hammersmith and Fulham. The Jobs and Careers Fair will provide an opportunity for local people to find out more about the wide variety of job prospects at Imperial Wharf, London's leading riverside destination.
Ross Faragher, Managing Director of St George Central London commented, "St George is committed to unlocking the potential of urban areas and enhancing the quality of lives for people who live in and around those communities. Following last year's event, which was successful in placing local people into work, we are delighted to be hosting the annual Imperial Wharf Jobs and Careers Fair in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council. This valuable event will raise awareness of the wide range of employment opportunities within the retail, leisure and construction industries, including hotel operator Jurys Inn and childcare provider Bright Horizons as well as restaurants based at Imperial Wharf."
Exhibiting at this year's Jobs and Careers Fair will be a wide range of organisations involved in Imperial Wharf available to provide details on the range of job prospects available. These will include Jurys Inn Hotel, Gambado indoor play centre, Bright Horizons nursery, restaurants Deep and Memories of India on the River, London Borough Hammersmith and Fulham and estate managers County Estates, in addition to various organisations from the construction industry.
