Berkeley Group has been awarded Gold status by the The 5% Club, with over 8% of its workforce engaged in ‘earn and learn’ positions in 2024-2025.
The accolade recognises the consistent positive impact of Berkeley’s Future Skills programme, which is equipping new talent with the skills they need both now and for the future.
Members of The 5% Club commit to 5% of their workforce being in ‘earn and learn’ positions. This includes apprentices, graduates, and sponsored students in formal training for at least a year – with Berkeley consistently surpassing the 5% requirement to attain Gold status.
Last year the company directly employed an average of more than 100 apprentices, 50 graduates, and 60 sponsored students during the year, with many more working across Berkeley sites within its supply chain.
In 2025, Berkeley Group was ranked as the fourth best employer in the entire country for apprentices, and 17th for graduates. These ratings from TheJobCrowd are based on anonymous feedback from trainees.
