Kidbrooke Village has recently welcomed a new addition to the retail offerings at Pegler Square.
YoHome Supermarket has opened doors to its first customers, offering a variety of oriental groceries, fresh produce, and speciality items. These include everyday necessities and pet supplies, aiming to serve the needs of the local community.
The opening of YoHome Supermarket presents an opportunity for locals to explore a wider range of products than currently on offer, particularly for those interested in Asian cuisine. The supermarket sits alongside an already diverse array of offerings on Pegler Square, including Kidbrooke Food Market, Starbucks, Tesco Express and Sainsburys Local, ensuring local residents have a full range of shopping options.
Berkeley Capital Development Director Paul Prichard said “We are really pleased to be welcoming YoHome Supermarket into the already bustling location of Pegler Square at Kidbrooke Village. It is important to us that our residents have a range of on-site retail options, and this will continue to grow as our community expands.”
The supermarket is part of the £1 billion Kidbrooke Village redevelopment project, transforming the former Ferrier Estate into a sustainable living area. Kidbrooke Village will comprise over 5,000 homes once completed, with a community already living and thriving there. Amongst a wide range of amenities, it is home to an on-site train station and 86-acre Cator Park, which won the prestigious 'Sir David Attenborough Award for Enhancing Biodiversity'.
