Ealing Artisan Market, the exciting food and drink market by local event team Eat Me Drink Me, is set to return to Dickens Yard on Saturday 6 October 2018.
Located in Elizabeth Square at the heart of Dickens Yard, Ealing Artisan Market showcases some of the finest artisan food producers, designers, makers and street food traders in West London and beyond. The new market will take place on Saturdays between 11am and 4pm with a range of local favourites including Handmade in Ealing, Gu Choki Pan, Charlotte Berridge, Wassail & Balter and Muffin Man, as well as an array of fresh produce and speciality foods.
Sustainability and community are an important part of Ealing Artisan Market. The new autumn edition of the weekly event features a charity stall available for local organisations to promote their work and all traders are required to only use eco-friendly materials and packaging.
New for this year is a Small Business Saturday celebration which will feature at Ealing Artisan Market on Saturday 1 December, showcasing local, independent makers and encouraging people to shop locally and support these independent businesses.
Kate McKenzie, Eat Me Drink Me, said:
"We are delighted to announce the return of our weekly market Ealing Artisan Market in its new home at the recently opened Elizabeth Square at Dickens Yard.
"West London has a long-established history of creativity and talent and we are thrilled to continue to shine light on independent producers, local makers and designers from the area and beyond every Saturday and with special events throughout the year."
Dickens Yard is a thrilling new lifestyle quarter in Ealing, comprising 700 new homes and a range of lifestyle brands now open including Triyoga, Charlotte's W5 and Benham & Reeves. A recent wave of commercial lettings set to open at Dickens Yard include Tonkotsu, Balans Soho Society, Darwin & Wallace, Gail's Bakery, Gymbox, Blo Bar, Kumon, The Skinny Kitchen, Jigsaw and Content by Terence Conran.
Dickens Yard is playing a significant role in the wider regeneration of Ealing ahead of the arrival of the Elizabeth Line at Ealing Broadway station. The expanded frequency of the Elizabeth line will see commutes reduced and journeys made easier via new, high-capacity trains. The new station will halve journey times to central London, with travel to Bond Street in 11 minutes, Liverpool Street in 18 minutes and Canary Wharf in 25 minutes. Heathrow Airport terminals two and three will be just 14 minutes away via the new line.
