About St George
St George is proud to be a member of the Berkeley Group and is London's leading mixed-use developer, regenerating brownfield land to create thriving new communities in attractive landscaped environments.
Since 2000 St George has delivered over 8,730 new homes; over 2,400 of which are affordable; 836,000 sq ft of commercial floor space and 83,000 sq ft of community space, as well as 30 acres of open space.
St George has three developments within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Imperial Wharf (and the final phase of Imperial Wharf, Chelsea Creek), Fulham Reach and Sovereign Court.
Imperial Wharf has transformed a 25 acre vacant site into a successful mixed-use development and comprises 1,750 homes, 253,000m2 of commercial space and ten acres of public open space. There are 47 businesses based in Imperial Wharf employing over 800 people, 20% of whom are Hammersmith and Fulham residents.
Chelsea Creek is the final phase of Imperial Wharf and will deliver 489 homes. Chelsea Creek will feature a series of waterways and canals running through the heart of the development and provide five acres of public open space and landscaped gardens.
Fulham Reach is the regeneration of the seven acre former distillery site. Construction started in 2012 and will deliver 744 homes of which 135 have already completed in the first phase of the development, Distillery Wharf. A Harris +Hoole coffee shop is operating and The Blue Boat, a Fuller's bar and restaurant, will open in spring 2015.
Sovereign Court will transform the 2.5 acre site in Hammersmith town centre, which comprised former vacant offices and a public car park, into a high quality residential-led development. Sovereign Court will deliver 418 homes and 5,000 sq ft of commercial space.
In 2002, St George was the first residential developer to be granted the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. The Berkeley Group as a whole received this prestigious accolade in 2008 and again in 2014.
Each home St George delivers creates or sustains 5.6 jobs.
