Berkeley’s Graduate Scheme is a two-year programme offering the opportunity to build a successful career with hands-on experience on cutting-edge projects.
Graduates begin with a two-week induction and then move through all core areas of the business in four to six week cycles, giving them exposure to all stages of the development process. After six months our graduates then return to their teams to begin their focused training, which can include starting a professional accreditation.
Narmeen Adnan-Khan, Technical Co-ordinator, joined the Berkeley Graduate Scheme after completing her Architecture degree. She said: “The structure enabled me to not only develop my knowledge but also allowed me to undertake a CIOB qualification with all of the necessary support. Having now progressed into my role as an Assistant Technical Manager, my advice would be to focus on giving 100% effort to each and every task you’re presented with, as the knowledge will come with time and experience.“
The Berkeley Graduate Scheme offers roles across Construction, Technical, Commercial, Finance and Land & Planning teams.
Berkeley Group is committed to inspiring new talent to join our industry, and creating a positive work environment for our people; fostering respect, support, wellbeing, safety and inclusivity.
We are part of the 5% club, which means that we’ve committed to keeping 5% of our workforce in ‘earn as you learn’ roles. Over the last year we’ve significantly exceeded this, with 9% in such positions.
