Couple Fall in Love With Holborough Lakes During Mystery Shopper Visit

In August 2017, Tom and Jaimie moved into their dream home at Holborough Lakes. The young couple had initially planned to start the search for their perfect home after their wedding in February 2018, but when they visited Holborough Lakes as part of a mystery shopping exercise, it was love as first sight.
Based in London, Tom and Jaimie had been mystery shopping at new build developments for around 18 months, to save money for their wedding and future - yet as soon as they stepped into the new neighbourhood at Holborough Lakes, they knew it was where they wanted to live.
Tom comments, "We were living in a flat in Clapham in London and had never visited Kent until our mystery shopping trip to Holborough Lakes. We signed up to be mystery shoppers in 2016 to earn some extra money and had visited over 70 homes, but we never thought about buying one ourselves so soon until we saw Holborough Lakes."
The couple first visited Holborough Lakes for work, and left having secured four-bedroom home located on the fringes of the eight-acre fresh water lake which sits at the heart of the community - a key attraction, particularly for Jaimie. Tom explains, "Holborough Lakes is idyllic. The natureled setting made the development really stand out from other schemes we'd seen. Having lived in New Zealand for several years, Jaimie especially loved the openness, as homes are surrounded by greenery".
The couple knew that eventually they would want a new build property which was commutable to London, and with good local amenities and open-plan space to entertain. Tom remarks, "Holborough Lakes offers fantastic links to London. We both work in the capital and have less than a 45-minute commute on the train. We also have plenty of space for entertaining, with a spacious family room downstairs, a second formal living room upstairs, and a large, secluded garden. We're looking forward to hosting BBQ's with family and friends this summer".
