The Gold Standard at Camden Goods Yard
From the elegance of Primrose Hill to the tranquillity of Regent’s Park, Una Barac – Creative Director of Atellior Interior Design – has seamlessly brought the beauty of Camden into her Showhome design – entitled The Albany - in Camden Goods Yard.
Una Barac was tasked with creating a Showhome that highlighted the vibrancy of Camden culture – a project that resulted in an effortless, yet thoughtful interior.
Starting with the open-plan living space, the gold and teal colour scheme brings a brightness to the space, with a coffee table book from the iconic fashion house, Vivienne Westwood displayed, paying homage to the borough’s fashion scene, while the ceramic vases that adorn the tables celebrate the area’s vibrant arts and crafts heritage.
This is met with a photographic image of the Roundhouse, the famous music venue located in the Grade II listed former railway engine shed in Chalk Farm – a nod to its world-renowned, musical roots.
In the main bedroom, rays of gold glitter on the headboard provide a continuation of the colour palette in the home. Both the primary and secondary bedrooms feature patterned throw blankets and pillows that note the borough’s rich textile history, while effortlessly complementing the overall design of a luxurious sanctuary. The two rooms are tied together with cream walls and warm lights that add a level of cosiness to the fashion-forward design aesthetic.
Another highlight of the Showhome’s storytelling of Camden is the array of dried flowers and plants that illustrate the greenery throughout the borough.
The open plan living room opens directly to the private balcony that connects the interior of the home with the beautifully landscaped space outside. The Camden Goods Yard development is dedicated to creating a healthy and natural setting for its residents and visitors, with approximately 40% of the new community dedicated to hard or soft landscaping, accompanied by over 240 new trees.
The Albany Showhome is located within The Regent, the first phase of Camden Goods Yard will feature striking architecture and beautiful spaces that seamlessly combine to create a lively community.
The eight-acre destination is nestled into the heart of Camden with great connections via Chalk Farm, Camden Road and Camden Town Stations. It is also just moments away from King’s Cross St. Pancras for those wanting to travel further afield.
