What's Happening at Woodhurst Park
Residents gathered on the village green to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. To make the most of the exciting occasion, the Residents' Association organised a selection of children's entertainment, including a visit from some other well-known royals, and some great British treats for all to enjoy.
World Book Day 2023
Local storyteller David England joined us to celebrate World Book Day and read a selection of classic stories. The children joined in with the fun, singing and using different props before showing off their favourite fictional character for the fancy dress competition.
Apartments Offer a Boost Onto the Property Ladder
Matt Davies took a step back onto the property ladder for the first time since 2014, following a period of renting after the sale of his home. The decision to buy an apartment was an easy one. It offered community living at his fingertips, and very little maintenance, while retaining access to outdoor space thanks to a private balcony.
Second Steppers Broaden Their Horizons at Woodhurst Park
Lisa Jarvis and Tom King were already homeowners at Woodhurst Park, having purchased their first home on an earlier phase of the development five years previously. Yet, when the time came to upsize, they were quick to make the most of high market demand to scale to the top of the ladder, setting their gazes no further than just down the road.
Witches, wizards and superheroes were all in attendance at this year’s Halloween celebrations, with residents submitting their carved pumpkins and their best fancy dress to be judged in the Residents’ Association’s competitions.
Downsizing Within the Development: Family Ties Keep It Local
Christine Healy has just downsized to her second property at our Woodhurst Park development in Warfield. Without a mortgage to pay off, Christine was able to pass on her good fortune to her daughter and her husband, who purchased Christine’s former four-bedroom home at the development. Christine’s daughter is now the third member of their family to live at Woodhurst Park, following in her mum's and sister’s footsteps.
