Highcroft is more than just a collection of contemporary homes - it’s a vibrant, connected community rooted in sustainable living. This sense of community spirit was on full display at our annual Picnic in the Park on Saturday 12 July.
Blessed with beautiful sunshine, residents and visitors alike gathered in Highcroft’s adventure park to enjoy an afternoon of family fun. Live music from local Wallingford band The Coverbuoys set the tone for the day, while guests browsed a variety of food and market stalls, all supplied by businesses from Wallingford and the surrounding area.
Children were kept entertained with bouncy castles, face painting and plenty of space to explore across Highcroft’s 18 acres of green open space, sports pitches and nature ponds.
Adding a sweet touch to the day, jars of Highcroft’s very own honey, made by our resident bees, were sold, with all proceeds donated to charity.
We’re proud to support local businesses and bring the community together at events like these, and it was fantastic to see such strong support and turnout.
The summer fun doesn’t stop here - join us again over the August Bank Holiday weekend (29–31 August 2025) as Highcroft takes part in the annual BunkFest celebrations with our very own on-site trail.
