Relocating to Kent for the Perfect Family Home

After spending many months struggling to find an affordable home in London that would accommodate their growing family, Raluca and Athanasios decided to expand their search out to Kent. Here, they found the perfect three-bedroom detached house in Hollyfields.

What Inspired You to Move to Tunbridge Wells?

Following a recommendation from a friend who already lived in Kent, Raluca and Athanasios began their property search. They quickly came across Hollyfields, a Berkeley development in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

“With our boys now growing up, we needed to find a home with more space, a garden and excellent schools. With the cost-of-living crisis and the surging house prices in London, we realised that we needed to look a little further afield.

We knew Tunbridge Wells was renowned for its education facilities, so when we came across Hollyfields, which offered new-build energy efficient homes, an onsite school and a residents’ shuttle bus to the train station, we knew we had found the perfect place to raise our family.”

What Do You Like Most About the Design of Your New Home?

“We love the modern finish to our new home; everything is brand-new which is such a bonus. We also have these lovely French doors leading out to the garden which floods the living area with so much light.

The boys are absolutely loving the garden; it’s been such a blessing having a space they can play safely and enjoy the outdoors.”
