What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is first and foremost a job with substantial training and the development of transferable skills. It is a way for people of all ages to earn while they learn, combining on the job training with obtaining a nationally recognised qualification, such as a BTEC or NVQ. Apprenticeships include a mixture of on the job training and college based learning.

Hear from our current apprentices
What does an apprenticeship at Berkeley Group entail? Hear what our apprentices have to say:
Having spent a year at Berkeley Group, working and learning as part of the sustainability team, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and believe I have become a valuable member of the team. I have taken on increasing responsibility and attained a wide range of skills.
I chose to apply for the Reach Apprenticeship scheme because I decided that I wanted to go into fitted interiors and soon realised that Berkeley Homes was the only company offering fitted interiors as an apprenticeship.
I decided to become an apprentice as I wanted the opportunities that came along with it. I wanted to be able to learn and earn in a practical manner as to further my skills and create a knowledge base of which to build a career off.
