The renowned 'We Love Cheese' Festival returns once again to Dickens Yard on Sunday 22 April 2018. The festival has been well received by the local Ealing foodie crowd and visitors alike, and this year demand is at an all-time high for the chance to sample some of the finest selection of cheese available in London at the leading St George destination in Ealing, W5.
With cheesy street food traders, special menus and sellers gathering from across the globe the buzz surrounding the festival promises something for everyone. The event is due to host an 'Ealing Bites' talk tent which includes a line-up of discussions led by expert cheese producers and importers. It will also allow attendees the opportunity to view a feature tasting hosted by The Guardian food-critic, Grace Dent.
New for this year Breadwinners, a grass roots charity, will join 'We Love Cheese'. Breadwinners prides itself on selling the highest quality, organic and artisan breads. The company aims to empower unemployed refugees by providing training and employment opportunities to build confidence, learn new skills and give back to the community. By sampling the best of London's bread and pastries, everyone is able to do their part.
With the ample amounts of cheesy choices, a baton of freshly baked bread will undoubtedly double the delight.
This year, the festival will also introduce the 'We Love Cheese Cup' which will feature each cheesemaker or a seller's finest product into the competition. A 'Cheese Cup Tasting Card' purchased in advance or on the day will enable attendees to taste all the cheeses entered into the competition whilst receiving a complimentary drink.
Don't loaf around and miss this free festival. Tickets for Grace Dent and the 'We Love Cheese Cup' tasting card are available to buy in advance online.
We Love Cheese' is part of Ealing Artisan, a Sunday market operated by local events company Eat Me Drink Me.
