The 730 bed student accommodation scheme was delivered in partnership with University of the Arts London and Knightsbridge Student Housing in August 2012.
Designed with art students in mind, The Costume Store features a spacious art workshop complete with cutting tables, styling booths for hair and make up training and 'dark room' space for photography. In addition to this, there is a public art gallery for students to display their work, a WiFi enabled student lounge and snug, an on site laundry, landscaped internal courtyards and an external Multi Use Games Area which features a small basketball court.
The development is predominantly en-suite with a limited number of studios and a two bedroom tutors flat.
At Berkeley First, we understand the challenges surrounding occupancy levels on new student accommodation schemes and in February 2012 we delivered a full sales and marketing suite at our cost to aid the sales process for University of the Arts London.
The development achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating in January 2013.
En-suite room's start at £160pw however the development is now 100% occupied for the 2012/13 academic year. For more information on how to book for next year please contact University of the Arts.
