Kensington Row, a prestigious new development in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has launched today, 31st January, marking a pivotal milestone in the delivery of the Warwick Road Masterplan.

The eagerly anticipated new development by leading London developer St Edward will comprise of nearly 500 one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and penthouses, transforming an undeveloped corner of West Kensington into a vibrant new residential community.

The new scheme is a key part of regeneration plans conceived by St Edward and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to create more than 1,000 new homes; a brand new school, landscaped grounds and public linear park. Together, the site spans more than seven acres. When complete, Kensington Row and the adjacent 375 Kensington High Street will be home to more than 2,300 people.

Located in an area which has seen unprecedented demand for new homes, Kensington Row is playing an essential role in meeting the borough's housing needs, whilst breathing new life into this area of Kensington with an exquisite collection of desirable modern homes.

Tim Pettman, Sales Director, St Edward: "Kensington Row combines luxurious interiors and high specification facilities, providing a new way of life in this sought-after postcode. These new homes present a fantastic opportunity to live close to some of the Capital's most iconic landmarks. Kensington's royal links and pristine garden squares have made this part of London one of the most desirable places to live and the development will create a new residential community in this corner of the borough.

"Kensington Row will also help transform the local streetscape into an attractive environment for all who live and work in the area. We are immensely proud of this exceptional development which we hope will inspire generations for years to come."

Kensington, which is renowned for its links to fine art, culture and royalty, has also been cited as one of the top ten London boroughs to invest in as part of a recent report by agents CBRE.  The report reveals property values in the borough rose by 21 per cent in 2014 and predicts residential prices to continue to significantly outperform the wider London market - a result of unrelenting demand for property in Kensington and Chelsea.

In keeping with the traditional feel of the local area and its garden squares, Kensington Row has been designed to emulate a 'garden in the city' providing a peaceful and scenic retreat for its growing community.

The buildings, designed by award-winning architects Squire and Partners, draw strongly on the expression of the apartment layout, with a stone and bronze anodised frame, while the façade, faced in Portland stone, complements the rich history of the existing streetscape.

The first collection of homes to be released at Kensington Row are located in Thomas Earle House, ideally nestled between the linear park and private landscaped courtyard. This architecturally impressive building of twelve storeys boasts spacious, light-filled apartments and penthouses befitting of their desirable location.

Apartments and penthouses range from over 1,000 sq ft to above 3,000 sq ft in size and have been thoughtfully designed to emit prestige and luxury with open plan living areas finished with the finest materials and a variety of bespoke features.

The interiors designed by David Ferns, director of CID Interior, provide a light and contemporary feel inspired by the grand regency squares which line this corner of Kensington. Touches such as engineered timber flooring, veneered architraves and Swarovski crystals starry lighting in en-suite master bathrooms ensure the apartments and penthouses exude the luxury of its surroundings.  Additionally, terraces and balconies provide stunning views of the city.

Residents at Kensington Row have an excellent range of leisure facilities on their doorstep, including a private swimming, vitality pool and exclusive treatment rooms. Residents also have access to a state-of-the-art gymnasium, fitted with the latest equipment.

The wider Kensington area offers local residents a range of famous cultural attractions including Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The neighbourhood is renowned for its Royal Parks and Michelin star restaurants, while famous former residents including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Beatrix Potter have helped Kensington earn its reputation for culture and art.

From here residents have easy access to the city and can reach Knightsbridge and Bond Street in just 15 minutes. Residents also have the use of private underground parking facilities.
