1,000 New Homes For West London As Kensington Row Launches
A pivotal milestone in the delivery of the Warwick Road masterplan has been reached today (27th September 2014) as leading developer St Edward launches its second major scheme as part of the ambitious Warwick Road masterplan to regenerate the area.
A collection of 82, one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and penthouses at the new development, Kensington Row are the very first to come available at the scheme, giving buyers a new opportunity to purchase their dream home in this sought after area. When complete, Kensington Row will comprise of over 500 superior homes, courtyards, landscaped gardens and attractive linear park.
The new development is a key part of regeneration plans developed by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and delivered by St Edward, to create more than 1,000 new homes; a brand new school and landscaped grounds and linear park. Together, the site spans more than seven acres. This already flourishing community, boosted by the arrival of new residents moving into nearby 375 Kensington High Street, also by St Edward, will be home to more than 2,300 people.
Located in an area which has seen unprecedented demand for new homes, both Kensington Row and 375 Kensington High Street are playing an essential role in meeting housing needs for the area whilst breathing new life into this part of the borough. When fully complete, the two schemes will have replaced a series of unsightly commercial buildings in an area of Kensington that had previously been neglected.
Paul Vallone, Executive Chairman, St Edward said: "The launch of Kensington Row represents a pivotal milestone for the area and St Edward. As well as creating a large number of desirable new homes, it marks another step towards the completion of the Warwick Road masterplan that had been set out by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to breathe new life into the area and create much needed new housing.
"The community and our prospective buyers are at the very heart of the scheme with careful and tireless attention to detail paid to the design and layouts of the new homes and helping to transform the local streetscape into an attractive environment for all who live and work in the area.
"With completions already underway at 375 Kensington Street and the creation of the new public linear park, you can really see this community come together."
