To celebrate the renowned annual race, Fulham Reach, a development proudly delivered by St George, hosted an exclusive viewing event for residents to watch the Oxford and Cambridge University crews battle for the title of one of the world’s oldest sporting rivalries.
The Boat Race, which takes place on the famous Championship Course stretching over 4.25 miles of tidal Thames in West London, brought the community of Fulham Reach together on Sunday 3rd April to enjoy live music, a barbecue, and a cocktail bar.
Situated along a dramatic stretch of the River Thames, with the riverside promenade overlooking Hammersmith Bridge, residents at Fulham Reach were perfectly located to enjoy the great views the annual Boat Race had to offer. The race itself could be seen from a specially erected viewing platform to ensure residents had a prime spot to experience the thrill of the competition a little further from the hustle and bustle of the supporters and perhaps be a little closer to the cocktail bar organised by St George.
Fulham Reach, which comprises 744 homes situated across a 7.25 acre site, provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. As well as there being a variety of local events to enjoy, residents also benefit from a wealth of hotel-style amenities, including exclusive access to The Tamesis Club, a private leisure and entertainment club featuring a 15-metre swimming pool. It also has a well-equipped gym, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and private treatment rooms.
Fulham Reach is also in close proximity to green open spaces, a reservoir home to the WWT London Wetland Centre and wildlife walks.
Holland House and Holland Court is the latest collection of homes available at Fulham Reach, where prices start from £840,000. The collection includes contemporary one, two and three-bedroom beautifully appointed and spacious apartments, each with a private balcony or terrace.
