Stephen Kirwan, Regional Managing Director, St George West London comments: “We are so proud to welcome London’s first residential digital golf club to Chelsea Creek. It is great to have communal spaces being used in more interesting and imaginative ways which people can really enjoy. Furthermore, with more and more people working flexibly from home, being able to work and spend time in beautifully designed communal spaces and on site amenities and facilities can make all the difference.”
Aaron Lloyd- Goodwin, Founder of the Chelsea Golf Club comments: “We had this vision to bring a golf club to a residential setting as to date it’s only been possible to play in the City, and takes at least an hour’s journey to get out to a physical course. Attitudes have changed, and people want more facilities in their local neighbourhood, so it made sense to bring a club to a residential location and community - Chelsea Creek seemed the perfect setting for us with an already vibrant community. Chelsea Golf Club will offer some of the biggest and best golf simulators in London. This allows people to pop in for a session in their lunch break, at the end of the day, or weekends.”
Chelsea Creek is home to the largest manmade canal network in almost 100 years, since the completion of the famous Grand Union canal. The design of the architecture around the waterways is inspired by Amsterdam and Copenhagen, both cities built on and around canal networks.
The arrival of the Chelsea Golf Club follows the recent launch of The Imperial, a 31-storey tower, and Westwood House, the final two buildings to come to market for sale comprising a mix of 269 one, two and three bed apartments and penthouses in a unique waterside setting.
The entire Chelsea Creek development will be complete in 2023.
