Berkeley Group has been ranked among Britain's Most Admired Companies in a peer-review study for Management Today Magazine.
Berkeley came top in the 'home construction' category and was named the sixth most admired business in the country.
The corporate reputation survey examines more than 250 leading companies from across 26 different sectors, with rankings determined by competitors and independent analysists.
Berkeley is the UK's leading placemaker, transforming some of the country's most challenging and complex sites into sustainable places where people of all ages and backgrounds can find a good home, and a good quality of life.
The FTSE 100 company has consistently recorded the highest customer satisfaction scores in its sector and is the only homebuilder to be awarded an A rating for Carbon Action and Transparency by CDP.
Berkeley has also pioneered net biodiversity gain within the development industry, having committed to measurably enhance nature on every new site since 2017. This led to Kidbrooke Village winning the Sir David Attenborough Award for Enhancing Biodiversity in 2020.
The company has also been named Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year for the last two years running.
Between 2015 and 2020, Berkeley built more than 19,200 homes of all types and tenures and made a £14bn contribution to the UK economy.
