On Friday 15 January 2016, the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London.
Paul Dunnett, a Senior Project Manager at Berkeley Homes (South East London), won the Supreme National Award in the Multi-Storey category for his work at Saffron Square in Croydon. This is a development of 791 homes in 5 podium buildings and a dramatic 43 storey tower all set around a one acre public square.
It's the second year in a row that a manager from Berkeley's South East London division has picked up this Supreme Award - an unprecedented achievement. Paul's work at Saffron Square follows the success of Damian Bates at One Tower Bridge, who also won the Multi-Storey category in 2014.
Paul's Managing Director, Harry Lewis, said, "This is a tremendous personal achievement and a credit to the hard work and commitment of the entire Saffron Square project team. These awards are not won lightly and the fact that we have won two in a row is a credit to the professionalism of our production teams and their commitment to build quality."
