St George, London's leading mixed use developer, hosted the annual Concert in the Park at Beaufort Park on Saturday 7 June. The free event was a huge success attracting hundreds of residents and visitors from across the local community.
The event took place in the stunning parkland setting and featured an afternoon of live music from around the globe including the popular Brazilian samba band So Kem Eh and headlined by Soul Fiesta. Visitors also enjoyed a range of family entertainment, a tasty BBQ, homemade cakes and refreshments.
The Barnet Youth Brass Band also made their debut performance at Concert in the Park this year, featuring young local talent performing a combination of popular music and original brass band pieces.
The Worshipful Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet, Councillor Hugh Rayner who attended the event commented; "It was wonderful to see so many residents and members of the local community enjoying the fantastic range of young, local talent performing at Concert in the Park this year."
Brazilian samba band So Kem Eh performed an eclectic mix of music, with musicians hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv and London. Latino band Soul Fiesta brought the evening to a close, bringing visitors to their feet and creating a great carnival atmosphere.

Visitors were able to relax whilst enjoying the tasty BBQ along with Bright Horizons offering a range of arts and crafts activities, summer drinks served by local bar and restaurant, The Beaufort and homemade cakes, pastries and soft drinks provided by local coffee bar, Coffee Affair.
