St George is to host the sixth Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival on Thursday 16th & Saturday 18th September at London's leading riverside destination.
After the resounding success of previous years, St George is hosting the sixth annual free Jazz Festival at Imperial Wharf featuring some of the world's most creative jazz musicians.
The two day programme will begin on Thursday with the versatility and unique approach of Dennis Rollins Badbone & Co with the talented vocalists Alexander Stewart.
The entertainment will continue on Saturday with one of Britain's leading Latin Jazz performers Snowboy & his Latin Section, the return of Gwyneth Herbert Quartet hailed as "brilliantly original" by Mojo, the BBC Jazz Award winner for "Best Album" Get the Blessing, along with world-class gypsy swing ensemble Trio Manouche with special guests and the highly accomplished Tony Kofi. Opening the Festival will be Sarah Ellen Hughes with performance from her debut album.
Located at the heart of Imperial Wharf, the Jazz Festival provides outstanding views along the river Thames creating a great atmosphere where diners can enjoy the range of culinary delights from Saran Rom, Indian flavours from Memories of India on the River, as well as the highly popular Young's Waterside bar and restaurant.
The Jazz Festival has been programmed and produced in partnership with St George by leading event production company ESIP also behind the international concert series "Made in the UK" and the Global Mix record label.

Gwyneth Herbert Quartet
Hailed as "brilliantly original" by Mojo, Gwyneth Herbert is at the vanguard for a new generation of young jazz and folk influenced singer-songwriters.

Trio Manouche with Special Guests
world-class gypsy swing ensemble performing the works of Django Reinhardt and their own up-beat original compositions in the style of Hot Club de France.
