Our Favourite Parks and Green Spaces in London

We are proud to have property developments all across London, from popular boroughs in central London to charming towns near the outer sides of the city.

We're quite familiar with the local areas of each of our developments, including the gorgeous green areas on offer nearby which residents and local communities alike can enjoy. Here's a quick rundown of just some of our favourite green spaces and parks near Berkeley Group developments in London.

King's Road Park

The Development

Just 60 metres from the iconic location of King's Road in Fulham, our King's Road Park aims to forge a new, sustainable neighbourhood situated within a beautiful park teeming with lush foliage and floral arrangements.

King's Road Park forms the last large-scale project to be started within the Fulham Riverside Regeneration Area, which seeks to restore two Grade II listed buildings to their former glory complete with a new public square and local amenities.

Kings Road Park Green Spaces

The Green Spaces

You'll find the expertly landscaped courtyard garden between The Beaumont and The Windsor, designed by Gillespies to bring the development to life through bursts of vibrant colour and fascinating features for the people who call King's Road Park home.

The garden can be enjoyed either up close and personal through the various walkways which wind through the flowers and foliage, or from the comfort of the balconies up above the garden so you can get a gorgeous view out over the whole space. There's even a formal lawn where you can set yourself down in the garden and take in the atmosphere on sunny afternoons.

Outside of the development, you'll find the historic Eel Brook Common close by which is one of the handiest little parks in Fulham, nestled within the hustle and bustle of the borough and easily accessible from the Fulham Broadway tube station.
A bit further down the road is Parsons Green, a conservation area within central London and sports a typical English village green at the centre which once served as a country retreat for those seeking respite from the city.

Finally, although it isn't a green space which is usable by the public, Stamford Bridge is right around the corner where you can catch Chelsea playing on the carefully manicured pitch against other premier league clubs.

Chiswick Gate

The Development

Inspired by the timeless quality of London's residential squares, Chiswick Gate blends contemporary features with classically refined taste to create a tranquil, modern development located in a desirable West London setting.

With only 4 homes remaining, now's the last chance to buy at Chiswick Gate with the most recent release of Concord Court, a group of individually designed 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments ready to move into this year and finished to the highest standards, each featuring its own terrace which overlooks The Orchard - one of the fantastic communal gardens within the development.

Chiswick Gate Green Spaces

The Green Spaces

Between the residential buildings, you'll find The Orchard, The Parterre and The Boulevard - three communal courtyards designed by Macfarlane and Associates which condense all the charm of a full-scale formal English gardens into compact residential squares.

They make full use of the available space between each of the buildings within Chiswick Gate with tree-lined pathways, lush grass verges and a water feature specific to The Parterre which spans practically the length of the courtyard.

Just over the road, you'll find the idyllic Chiswick House and Gardens which is one of the primary draws for residents and visitors alike. The Palladian villa which sits at the centre of the gorgeous curated gardens was designed by the third Early of Burlington, drawing inspiration from his Grand Tour of Italy.

The gardens themselves recently underwent a major restoration projected which carefully repaired the statues and buildings dotted throughout the gardens, as well as uncovering the original vistas.

To the south of Chiswick House, you'll also see Dukes Meadows which is another of our favourite parks in the area, providing ample amount of green space to use for activities or gatherings with friends. There's also the Dukes Meadows Golf, Tennis & Ski club which lets you pay and play with no membership, perfect for trying something new or picking up as your new local sports club.
