One Blackfriars: A Stunning, Luxurious Addition to London's Skyline

Soon to be one of the South Bank's most desirable property locations,  One Blackfriars is one of our most exciting luxury developments, with a host of wonderful touches that we're really proud of. Let's take a look at some of the elements that make it such an attractive address.

Not merely a tower, the One Blackfriars building is set to become a sculptural addition on the London skyline. Designed to mirror the lines of the Lansetti II vase, created by Finnish artist Timo Sarpaneva, it's a unique piece of art that stands out among the South Bank's skyline. The architect we have to thank for this building is Ian Simpson of SimpsonHaugh and Partners, who spent the last 15 years ensuring that this is one of London's most beautiful new towers. From the building itself, the views are equally as stunning - with the Houses of Parliament and St. Paul's Cathedral clearly visible.

Inside, each of the three specification apartment types has been designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners, drawing inspiration from three of Britain's most well regarded artists, in Thomas Gainsborough, JMW Turner, and Barbara Hepworth. Each of the three styles is unique, and reflects several of each respective artist's most recognisable motifs, from Turner's use of light, to Hepworth's eminent work with metal and stone.

The 274 apartments are not all we've brought to the development. In order to ensure that One Blackfriars is every bit the luxury lifestyle address, we've also made sure that the property caters to our residents' every needs. From the dedicated 24 hour concierge and valet parking, to the pool, spa and gym, private screening room, and level 32 executive lounge we've gone to great lengths to ensure One Blackfriars represents the highest standard of luxury living.

And of course, as with all of Berkeley Group's London properties, we've made every effort to ensure that the local area has everything required to live a premium lifestyle. Naturally, the South Bank is home to a wealth of cultural delights, from rows of renowned restaurants, to art galleries, museums and more. The revival of the area has seen some truly wonderful bars and eateries open. Shopping prospects are excellent too, with local boutique areas such as Covent Garden, the City, Mayfair, Knightsbridge a particular highlight. Key locations nearby are the Tate Modern, National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe and St Paul's Cathedral.

We can't wait to showcase all One Blackfriars has to offer.
