Job Purpose: To provide document control to the Oxford & Chiltern Technical Department, including the issuing of drawings, specifications, reports, tenders etc. and dealing efficiently with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. The individual will be based at the Berkeley Homes Oxford & Chiltern offices in Farnham Royal/Maidenhead.  


Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Supporting the Technical Department with day-to-day document management & drawing issues for development projects
  • Manage the storage, distribution and filing of all project documents in both paper and the online systems
  • Manage and administer the accessing, uploading, archiving and downloading of project documents through file sharing sites - SharePoint and Asite
  • Support the business wide improvement and efficiency objectives, including data analysis and compilation of reports
  • Issuing (electronically and in hard copy) planning drawings, technical drawings and schedules internally in line with Berkeley policies and procedures
  • Liaising with our external Consultants and Contractors relating to any SharePoint and Asite drawing issue queries
  • Undertaking any other large format printing required in the office or for our developments
  • Managing and setting up of users on our tablet site snagging system (FieldView)
  • Ad hoc document control support to Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern) as required

Technical Competencies: 

  • Generally IT literate
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages especially Excel
  • Working knowledge of Asite and SharePoint

  • Ability to work under pressure with confidence in dealing with diverse personalities
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

Please note our standard working hours are 8am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
