Job Purposed: Berkeley Commercial Developments Ltd ("BCD") is part of the Berkeley Group PLC and is in charge of collecting ground rents on behalf of Berkeley Operating companies and a third party investment company.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • To assist the Ground Rents team in billing, collecting and recording ground rent.
  • To deal with queries from leaseholders by phone and email.
  • Take card payments using Sagepay.
  • To post cash on leaseholder accounts.
  • To assist in the preparation of debtor reports for monthly meetings.
  • To manage mail out of demands, reminder letters etc.
  • Dealing with Managing Agents, Solicitors and Operating Companies.
  • Dealing with the assigning of leases and queries from Solicitors 

Person Specification:

  • A proactive, driven person with common sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively.
  • Good administration and organisational skills
  • Good level of IT skills and a credit control knowledge.
  • Confident and personable telephone manner.
  • Communication (written and verbal), negotiation and problem solving skills

Please note our standard working hours are 8am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
