Previous industry experience is not required.  You must have the right attitude/personality and be passionate and focussed on wanting to deliver a first class customer experience and service.  Previous experience in a customer facing environment would be desirable.
You will be asked to submit a CV via the 'Application' section of this website. We will then conduct telephone/Skype interviews, followed by a psychometric test for successful applicants. The final stage will be an assessment day, which will include interviews and presentations with senior management. You will be kept updated on the progress of your application through.

Successful candidates will start the Customer Services Academy in April 2017, and subject to successfully completing the 7 week programme, will be transferred to a Berkeley Group division in June 2017.

On joining the Berkeley Group Customer Services Academy, successful candidates will embark on 7 weeks of intensive training. 4 weeks of the training programme will be 'classroom' based; during which you will learn all the require processes and procedures to develop your understanding of customer facing skills. The remaining 3 weeks will be spent on a work experience placement within an existing customer service team, dealing with purchasers, understanding the customer service process and how to deliver exceptional service levels.

Our Customer Service team will typically work 5 days per week, 8:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, however some weekend or evening work may be required from time to time according to customer requirements.
It would be expected that once trainees have completed the programme that they would be prepared to travel (at their own cost) up to 1 hour from home to their place of work. During the 7 week academy programme, travel times could be longer than 1 hour dependent on trainee's home location and the various venues that are used to deliver the programmes.
