Previous industry experience is not required. You must have the right attitude/personality and be passionate and focussed on wanting to deliver a first class customer experience and service. Management experience is desired and you should have previous experience of working in a customer service based environment.
You will be asked to submit a CV via the 'Application' section of this website.We will then conduct telephone/Skype interviews, followed by a psychometric test for successful applicants. The final stage will be an assessment day, which will include interviews and presentations.
Successful candidates will be asked to start the Customer Services Academy in September 2015, transferring to an Operational Company to commence full employment Mid-October 2015.
On joining the Berkeley Group Customer Services Academy, successful candidates will embark on 6 weeks of intensive training. Part of the training will be theory based; during which you will learn all the required processes and procedures, as well as build upon your existing customer services training. The remaining time will be spent on developments in customer service departments, dealing with purchasers, understanding the customer service process and how to deliver exceptional service levels.
Customer Service Managers will typically work 5 days per week, 8:00am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday, however some weekend or evening work may be required from time to time.
It would be expected that Customer Service Managers would be prepared to travel (at their own cost) up to 1 hour from home to their place of work.
