Mountsfield Park in the south of Lewisham has a wide range of recreational pursuits including basketball, football and tennis as well as ornamental gardens and a bandstand, Hilly Fields to the West commands breathtaking views over Lewisham and the City from 175 feet above sea level, the beautiful Manor House Gardens to the East has a large lake and popular cafe and Blackheath to the North offers spectacular kite flying displays, donkey rides and various seasonal fun fairs and circuses.
