The imposing nine-storey, ten level apartment building that is Silkworks, designed by RMA Architects, will be a flagship of modern design; a building of architectural merit and a pleasurable environment which is both flexible and diverse for residents to enjoy.
Generous external private amenity space will be available for many residents with glass balustrades creating a sense of lightness and openness. The coloured glass panels will create a static pattern that will appear playful as the sunlight moves across the building.
Copper cladding and diversity in render colour reduces the dominance of the building, giving it subtlety. The rendered brickwork walls are further enhanced with the use of coloured aluminium panels.
