Queen Mary's Place has been specifically designed to favour the pedestrian around the development, ensuring short journeys can be made quickly and safely. In order to make your journeys by foot quicker and safer, St James is providing a new Toucan Crossing on Roehampton Lane. This will benefit not only Queen Mary's Place, but the community in Roehampton as a whole, giving you quicker and safer access to Roehampton High-street.
Wandsworth Borough is home to many beautiful parks spanning over 1600 hectares of parks, commons and allotments, including Battersea Park, Wandsworth Common and Putney Heath. Just half a mile away is the pastoral landscape of Richmond Park, with almost 2,500 acres of woodland, grassland, ponds, hills and gardens, and around 650 free roaming deer. If you prefer a really active day out, there is a huge range of sports available in the park, including rugby, polo, cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding.
