The Piazza - the centre-piece of the development, designed to be enjoyed by residents all year round. Every little detail has been thought of with water feature, unique artist designed benches, bus stops and even bins. All replicate the shape of a wave to symbolize life on the Island. Car Club - this is an innovative car sharing scheme available to all residents with immediate financial and environmental benefits, reducing C02 emissions and congestion.The cars can be hired on a short term rental basis, subject to availability, from only £4 for an hour plus a small mileage fee. Bus Service - Kennet Island has it's own dedicated bus service. The number 40 route runs from Drakes Way at the development to the town centre via the Madejski Stadium. The service takes less than 15 minutes and runs every half hour. Download the Kennet Island bus timetable here.
The Hilton Hotel - Located at the entrance to Kennet Island, the hotel has 210 bedrooms, conference and leisure facilities and is home to the stylish Larder restaurant offering local and international dishes and Bar K. The hotel also has it's own health and leisure centre complete with swimming pool.
