Creating a focal point for the Kennet Island community is the stunning Piazza and water feature. More than just a place to meet and relax, the Piazza is also home to the residents' gym - 'Fit@KI', a buzzing licensed café - 'The Island Lounge' and a convenience store; all designed for your comfort and ease.
The Piazza is also where you can catch Kennet Island's dedicated regular bus service, widely used and very highly regarded by residents. The service runs every 30 minutes during peak times to key destinations in Reading via Green Park and the Madejski Stadium to Reading train station in just 10 minutes.

Complementing the bus service is the Kennet Island Car Club. This innovative scheme provides access to a car when you need it without the ongoing expense and environmental impact of owning one. Based in the Piazza, it can be booked from a period of 30 minutes to as long as you want; what's more, the fee includes insurance.
The ever growing community at Kennet Island is supported by many residents who volunteer as active committee members dedicating time to building a solid network, organising social events and meetings.
