Local agent makes smart investment in Dickens Yard

Local estate agent, Adam Connor picked the cream of the crop when he purchased his first home at St George's Dickens Yard development. Working closely with the Ealing scheme, Adam, 24, was attracted to the development's convenient location and promising investment prospects.

In November 2012, Adam purchased his one bedroom apartment in the Skyline Apartments off-plan. Adam comments: "With a good understanding of the local market, I jumped at the chance to purchase the apartment early on, knowing that it would only grow in value, particularly with the arrival of Crossrail on Ealing Broadway."

The development already benefits from superb transport links with Central and District underground services providing direct trains into central London from Ealing Broadway. Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd's Bush is a 14 minute journey, while at present Tottenham Court Road can be reached in 30 minutes until 2019 when this will be slashed to just 12 minutes.

"Despite being in Zone 3, I really do feel as though I'm in the heart of London knowing that popular destinations of Mayfair and Soho are less than half an hour away. Ealing is very much an up-and-coming area with new shops and restaurants continuing to crop up, creating a buzzy, vibrant atmosphere."

Adam moved into his apartment in October 2014 and was previously renting in nearby Acton with friends. Adam was particularly attracted to his apartment's spacious, open-plan design and high-end finish. "Whilst it was a lot of fun renting with friends, I'm delighted to have a place I can call my own. I'm looking forward to entertaining as the kitchen and dining area has a bar-style worktop."

Whilst homes at Skyline house have now all sold, the latest phase to launch at Dickens Yard, Vista Apartments, provides a collection of Manhattan, one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses. Designed by award-winning urban architects, John Thompson and Partners, each new-build home offers large, open living spaces with high ceilings and generous natural lighting. Buyers also have the opportunity to personalise their home with a range of natural, contemporary palettes.
Residents at the Vista Apartments also benefit from the exclusive use facilities on offer at Dickens Yard. Private luxury spa facilities including a gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and treatment room will allow owners to unwind without leaving the development. A dedicated 24 hour concierge service is also available.
