Delivering Growth Through Localism
About this project
This is a new initiative led by a group of councils, community groups, private sector businesses and housing associations. We have come together to focus attention on how Britain can deliver both growth and localism.
Our experience on the ground is that many practitioners are struggling to interpret the wealth of policy reform and work together effectively. So we have published a guide to the new policy landscape, bringing together the range of new initiatives and ideas created by the Localism agenda and the Government's Plan for Growth. This is designed to help people deliver more homes, create jobs, and strengthen the economy through growth.
The book is being followed by a major event designed to galvanize action and find new ways for us all to collaborate. There is also a LinkedIn Group called 'Growth and Localism'. We welcome everyone's contribution and involvement in the debate.
