Reporting
Berkeley has been reporting on its sustainability performance for 10 years. In the years since we published our first report in 2002, Berkeley has built a reputation as the most sustainable major housebuilder in Britain and created a robust strategy that reflects the ever demanding environment within which we operate. Over this time, we have developed and refined our approach to reporting. Performance information is published in a distinct Sustainability Report in pdf format. The pdf report is designed to be easily downloadable and printable. This website then continues to provide more detailed information on how we manage sustainability and our approach to each issue.
Our 2011 Sustainability Report
Our 2011 Sustainability Report provides a summary of the progress Berkeley has made against our Vision2020 strategy for the period from May 2010 to April 2011.
Compliance with GRI Guidelines
For the second year running, we have benchmarked our sustainability reporting to Level B of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Framework. The GRI Framework sets out principles and indicators for measuring and reporting on economic, environmental and social performance in a balanced and transparent manner. An index of conformance with the guidelines and an explanation of how we comply with the GRI principles is available here.
