Water World

A new riverside park fronting the development is bordered by The New River, originally a man made channel that runs along the front of the development completed in 1613 to supply the City of London with fresh drinking water.

The New River which runs alongside more than 42 acres of open water now provides an important habitat for various wildlife and birds including the common toad (Bufo bufo) which Berkeley have carefully relocated from the development site whilst construction works takes place attracting naturalists and bird lovers from all over the country.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, Stoke Newington Reservoir Centre is located on the West Reservoir across from the development and is an ideal place to participate in water activities or study the local environment. Facilities and activities include sailing, kayaking and canoeing courses.
