Green Spaces
The New River Walkway is classified as a site of metropolitan importance, a controlled area of ecological significance in the city and runs directly along the boundary of Woodberry Park.
This is a direct inspiration for the green route that runs through Woodberry Park, linking the waterfront with the new town square. Green landscaped fingers are an enlivening feature of the whole development that cross the landscaped gardens.
A series of high quality and well integrated public spaces will be created and opportunities to improve the ecological diversity will be maximised by the use of green and brown roof innovations.
